It's OFFICIAL - Organic is better!Times Online reported that in a $25 study that Organic foods are no-doubt better for you. So "there" to all those who think I'm just a tree-hugger. Read the Times Online article. In all seriousness, going organic is important but if money is tight, the very best thing that you could do for your health is to eat grass-fed beef and free range poultry. Since both of these typically entail no hormones or antibiotics you don't really need to ask anything other then "Is it grass-fed beef or bison" or "free-range poutlry"? Why is this more important? Because for every 1 pound of commercial meat that you consume, you are eating the equivalent of 8 pounds of vegetation that was sprayed with pesticides. More importantly, inflammation is the cause of most of the diseases this century and grass-fed beef contains the perfect ratio of omega 3's to omega 6's. Known as Will to his friends, was born the son of an ironworker 60 years ago in May in a steel and paper mill town along the Miami River in southern Ohio. He was a chiropractor and one of the vanishing breed of "old-timers" who practiced innately by hand only. In his youth, he had been a professional musician, a drummer. He was respected in his middle years for his way with words as a speaker and writer. He was a Christian who fathered five sons, as he put it, "one fine daughter." He loved a fireplace and a bowl of popcorn. His outstanding attribute was that he sought the truths and principles of life and attempted to live according to his heart. This speaks well of a man. He was the last of four children, and outlived his sister. He is survived by his wife, Pamela, a chiropractor herself, six children, and eleven grandchildren, including three who are also chiropractors- William David, James William, and Geoffrey Abraham." A celebration service is scheduled for Thursday, the fourteenth of December, at three o'clock in the afternoon at First Christian Assembly of God in Cincinnati, Ohio. During ABC's new
popular program, Dancing With The Stars, football great Emmitt Smith
discussed his key relationship with his chiropractor, Robert Parker, DC.
The show included footage showing Smith receiving treatment from Dr.
Parker prior to his dance competition; Dr. Parker has been treating
Smith since 1995. According to head judge Len Goodman, Smith went on to
deliver "the best samba of the night". During the same episode, two of
the show's dancing professionals, Karina Smirnoff and Ashly DelGrosso,
were dancing injured. As a result, program producers had a chiropractor
standing by just in case the women needed treatment.
